Environment and Wildlife

Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures.
~ His Holiness The Dalai Lama

By cutting meat, eggs and dairy from our plates, we can reduce the impact of climate change, forest destruction, pollution, saving water and other resources. Livestock production is responsible for more environmental degradation than any other single industry. This does not only have consequences for us, but also for wildlife.

We aim to collaborate with researchers, research centers and environmental organisations to shed more light on the relationship between livestock production (particularly dairy and egg) and environmental degradation as well as the resulting effects on wildlife.
